Have you
ever wondered what makes biryanis and pulao are so special? These are one of
the favorite meals for most of the homes in India. Apart from taste biryani is
a balance of carbs and protein. Today we are going to make a Kerala egg biryani
which is spicy and authentic.it such a versatile ingredient that is filled with
rich taste and protein.
Kerala egg
biryani is fragrant of love for a foodie. The desi ghee adds a healthy impact
on the food, the goodness of rich and tasty masala leads to an unusual and
exotic touch to the biryani and if you want a light and easy to cook veggie
type biryani then the Kerala egg biryani is the best option for you.
Ingredients:
Rice
Jeerakasala- 3 cups (soaked overnight)
Onion- 4 to
5
Cashew- 12
to 15
Raisin- 15
to 12
Eggs- 6
boiled egg
Chili
powder- 1 tbsp
Turmeric
powder – 1 tsp
Oil – as
per your need
Tomato – 2
Homemade
garam masala- 2 tsp
Ginger
garlic – 2 tbsp
Coriander
leaves – 2 tbsp
Green chili-
2
Lemon Juice
– 3 tbsp
Curd – 2
tbsp
Ghee – 2 to
3 tbsp
Salt as per
the taste
Method for
preparing Kerala egg biryani at home:
Step 1:
prepare your rice
Take 3 cups
of rice soaked overnight. Take a pan add 2 onion and heat it till it turns into
brown color. Now add cashew and raisin separately in a container heat it with 2
tsp oil move it forth and back.
Step2: Make
boiled egg masala
Take 6
boiled eggs. In a dish take chilly powder 2 tsp to add turmeric powder 2 tsp
and salt as per taste add oil to blend the mixture then add egg properly coat
the egg with the masala. After mixing egg heat the masala egg with oil move and
prevent from overheating the egg.
Step 3:
make biryani masala
Take 2 and
½ onion in a non-stick pot heat and move the onion accordingly. Add salt as per
your taste. Make a paste of green chilly, ginger-garlic, and ginger in a
grinder. Add the pasta to the onion pot add turmeric 2 tsp add garam masala 2
tsp. On top add coriander leaves about 2 tbsp. Add 2 cup tomato’s cover the pot
for heating and mix the masala well. Add lemon juice 2 tsp and also ad curd 3
tbsp mix properly and then add the masala egg.
Step 4: Add
and served Kerala egg biryani
Time to prepare rice to add 2 tbsp ghee and
garam masala take one cut onion add salt as per taste mix the content and add
the rice on the content add 4 cups of water. Keep it for 5 mins then take rice.
Now its time to make a layer of biryani add the masala previously created add
rice on top of masala add some cooked onion add dry fruit mixture and then add
masala egg above the rice after than add a layer of rice again and 2 tbsp of
lemon juice cover the pot with foil paper put to keep the biryani for heat.
Then remove the lid and serve the yummy Kerala egg biryani with raita or salad.
Kerala egg
biryani takes less time rather than other biryani. The benefit of this biryani
is it takes less time and easy to cook at home without compromising on the
